"Community" Improves Every Aspect of Church Life
(Acts 2:42-47)
We believe that community should be more than our middle name. Community is a sense of belonging and of closeness with others that was evident in Acts 2. We believe it is a vital part of making church meaningful. And if it happens right, the church will grow larger and smaller at the same time. In the early church, as folks were brought to faith in Christ, they were drawn into loving community in smaller groups in homes. We believe that this strong sense of community should be a natural part of both our task teams and our small groups ministries. And it should be evident anytime we gather corporately in larger groups.
